Men’s Soccer Ends in Draw With NVU-Johnson

JOHNSON, VT: The Rivier men's soccer team ended their third game of the season in a draw with Northern Vermont University-Johnson during non-conference action this afternoon.   

THE BASICS:

- Date: 9/11/22

- Score: Rivier1, NVU-J 1

- Records: Rivier (1-1-1), NVU-J (1-2-1)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders would gain the advantage in the first half just 2:18 into the game on a Jason Harlow (Naples, ME) goal. However, the Badgers would knot it up at 1-1 at 3:55 in after Aidin Joyce found the back of the net.  

- Neither team would be able to score again to gain the advantage ending this one in a tie.

- Carlos Dominguez saw seven shots in net for NVU, saving six. Noah Horn (Merrick, NY) saw just two shots on goal this afternoon, saving one.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Shots: Rivier 15, NVU 6

-  Corner Kicks: Rivier 10, NVU 3

-  Saves: NVU 6, Rivier 1
