Second Half Goal Lifts Falcons Over Men's Soccer

NASHUA, NH: The Rivier University men's soccer team fell to Fisher College 1-0 after a second half goal in the 61st minute.

 THE BASICS:

 HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders played a very close game with a tough opponent in the Falcons of Fisher College. They held the very potent offense of the Falcons to just 17 shots and the one score. Peter Ruiz was the beneficiary of the lone goal in the second half. He was able to shoot between two defenders and find the back of the net.

-  Rivier had two opportunities to tie the game up with good shots off to the right of the Fisher keeper, but Rafael Fabr was able to make two diving saves that kept the Raiders scoreless.

- Sebastian Lembo (Nutley, NJ) had a stellar game in net, making six difficult saves to keep the Falcons to just one.
