Raiders Topped by Blazers in Home Opener.

Nashua, N.H. : The Rivier University Men's Soccer program fell to Blazer in their third conference challenge of the season. 

  THE BASICS:

Score: Elms 1, Rivier 0

Records: Lasell (3-4, 2-5 GNAC), Rivier (1-2, 1-2 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  In the first half the Raiders neutralized the Blazers attack with solid defense as sophomore goalkeeper Dominic Cunha (Peabody, Mass.) denied 3 dangerous shots. 

-  The Raiders dominated possession in both halves by over 60%, however could not convert possession into goals. 

- Walaeddine Hounane (Salem, N.H.) and Jose Ochoa (Nashua, N.H.) each took two shots on frame while centerback Chris Antonelli (Commack, N.Y.) Ryan Hadouche (Nashua, N.H.) and Cody Sicard (Salem, N.H.) each rifled off a shot apiece. 

- The Raiders eventually conceded a goal in the 65th minute by Andwele Salmon after a defensive breakdown.

-  Saves: Rivier 6, Elms 4

-  Corner Kicks: Elms 6, Rivier 2
