SUNY Canton Bounds Past Men’s Hockey

NASHUA, NH: Rivier men's hockey fell in tonight's game against SUNY Canton at Conway Arena.

THE BASICS:

- Date: 11/12/22

- Score: Canton 3, Rivier 0

- Records: Canton (3-3), Rivier (2-2-1)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  Canton broke the scoreless game in the second period at 19:01 on a power play goal by Evan Pringle.

- The Roo's would follow up the 1-0 lead after the second period with two more goals in the third to seal the victory. Colton Sipperley netted the first just 2:20 into the period. Gino DeBlasis would net his third goal in two days against the Raiders to get the final of 3-0.

- Andrew LoRusso (Peabody, MA) made 24 saves on 27 shots faced. Kelson Hooper got his first collegiate win in the shutout, making 34 saves.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Shots: Rivier 34, Canton 27

-  Penalties: Canton 10 minutes on 5 infractions. Rivier had 8 minutes on 4 infractions.
