Men’s Hockey Blown Past by Castleton

RUTLAND, VT: The Rivier men's hockey team was defeated this evening by Castleton University in game one of the Terry Moran Invitational by a score of 7-2.

THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders found themselves down 7-0 going into the third period. The Spartans had seven players score this evening, with four coming in the first and three in the second period.

-  The Raiders were able to get on the board in the third period nine minutes in. Milan Breczko (Klasterec, CZR) netted his team's high fifth goal on the season.

- Raffael Pohlin (Brunec, Italy) scored Rivier's second goal at the 19-minute mark in the third period on the power play to get the final of 7-2

-  Saves: Castleton 25, Rivier 25

-  Penalties: Rivier 0, Castleton 8 minutes on 4 infractions
