PROVIDENCE, RI: Rivier field hockey fell to GNAC opponent Johnson & Wales this afternoon in Providence, Rhode Island.  

THE BASICS:

- Date: 10/8/22

- Score: JWU 7, Rivier 0

- Records: JWU (11-0, 6-0 GNAC), Rivier (4-7, 3-3 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Wildcats netted three goals in the first half, with two coming in the first quarter and the last in the second. Jillian Miele, Darian Shepherd, and Katie Sloan all had goals for JWU in the half.  

- The second half was more of the GNAC number one team as they put home four more goals. Margaret Johnson got the second half started putting the home team up 4-0. Shepherd would put in her second of the game, followed by Mya Bolk and Kameron Marando.

- Olivia Boucher (Berlin, NH) saw 20 shots in net as she made 13 saves. Madison Flaxington got her 11th win in net for the Wildcats after making just three saves.
