Field Hockey Sneaks Past the Pride

WESTON, MA: Rivier field hockey was able to secure a conference win at Regis College this evening. 

THE BASICS:

- Date: 10/4/22

- Score: Rivier 3, Regis 2  

- Records: Rivier (4-6, GNAC 3-2), Regis (3-7, GNAC 3-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Six minutes into the first quarter Kayla Miles (Londonderry, NH) scored for the Raiders, with a pass sent from Jacklyn O'Connor (Westford, MA).

Kayla Miles (Londonderry, NH) netted her second goal of the game for Riv, assisted by Sydney Spenard (Manchester, NH) in the third quarter. Jacklyn O'Connor (Westford, MA) then gave the Raiders a 3-0 lead in the 37th minute of the contest, with an unassisted goal. The Pride pushed back with a goal scored by Frankie Alley and the assist credited to Ava Costello.

- With five minutes left in the game, another Pride goal was scored by Belle Celli with a pass from Sarah Juskiewicz.

- In goal for Riv, Olivia Boucher (Berlin, NH) had two saves, earning her third straight win. Jocelyn White had four saves for Regis tonight.
