Field Hockey Trounces Dean 7-0

NASHUA, NH: The Rivier field hockey team defeated the Bulldogs of Dean College in conference action this evening by a score of 7-0 on senior day. This evening six field hockey players were recognized for their dedication to the field hockey team. Josie Hastings (West Lebanon, NH), Maegan Sheehy (Sabattus, ME), Felicity Defosses (Franklin, NH), Kayla Bednarz (Nashua, NH), Lia Yohanan (Andover, NJ), and Katie Olsen (Saugus, MA).

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders had a big first quarter, where they scored four of the seven goals, with two more coming in the third and one in the fourth quarter.

-  Six different Rivier athletes found the back of the net this evening. Leading the way with two goals was Madison Streeter (Westminster, VT). Hunter Langley (Londonderry, NH), Abby Nadeau (Newbury, NH), Kayla Miles (Londonderry, NH), and Maegan Sheehy all scored tonight.
