Field Hockey Come Up Short to Chargers

NEW LONDON, NH: The Rivier field hockey team fell to conference opponent Colby-Sawyer this afternoon by a score of 1-0.  

THE BASICS:

- Records: Colby-Sawyer (11-3, 7-1 GNAC), Rivier (6-7, 5-4 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders lost their three game win streak with a tough loss to the Chargers this afternoon. One goal in the first quarter was all Colby-Sawyer needed to claim victory. Julia Lanctot was the one goal scorer of the day in the 13th minute of the contest.

-  Rivier keeper Katie Olsen (Saugus, MA) kept them within striking distance with a nine save contest.
