Field Hockey Dominates Falcons 8-1

NEW HAVEN, CT: The Rivier field hockey team continues to roll as they have won six out of their last seven contests. This evening the Raiders took down another conference opponent in Albertus Magnus 8-1.  

THE BASICS:

- Date: 10/18/2021

- Score: Rivier 8, Albertus Magnus 1

- Records: Albertus (0-8, 0-7 GNAC), Rivier (6-6, 5-3 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders put together two big quarters in this contest. Between the second and fourth quarters, field hockey scored six goals. The other two Rivier scores came in the first and third quarters.

Chloe Sicard (Salem, NH), Abby Nadeau (Newbury, NH), and Hunter Langley (Londonderry, NH) all had two goals each for the Raiders. Maegan Sheehy (Sabattus, ME) and Madison Streeter (Westminster, VT) rounded up the rest of the Riv scores.

- The Falcons were able to get on the board in the fourth quarter off of an Alexis Duranleau goal.

-  Penalty Corners: Rivier 18, Albertus 1
