How It Happened:

Game One

The first inning decided the game for the visiting AMCats as they tallied 16 runs.  The lead wound up creating a gap between the two teams that was narrowly closed over the course of game one.

The first run earned for the Raiders in the first inning after senior Fred Kazalski (Dracut, Mass.) tripled to right center field.  Then sophomore Patrick Quinn (Seabrook, N.H.) grounded out to third base sending Kazalski across home plate.

The Raiders went scoreless in the second and third inning then earned a couple runs at the bottom of the fourth.  The second RBI of the night for the Raiders came off of Junior Corey Cochran's (Salem, N.H.) bat advancing Quinn to third and sending Kazalski across the plate. Quinn eventually scored off a wild pitch. Ending the inning with two runs and three hits.

Game Two

The Raiders continued to struggle finding momentum to compete with the AMCats aggressive offense and defense.  Coach Bernardini spread the pitching duties out between junior Jake Mainey (Merrimack, N.H.), sophomore Patrick Young (Billerica, Mass.) and Brandon Kelly (Lincoln, R.I.).  Young pitched in the sixth inning earning 2 strikeouts while Kelly closed out the day with 1 strikeout.
