Rivier Sports Camps

Establishing a fun, exciting, and encouraging atmosphere where your child can improve his or her skills and self-esteem is a key focus of Rivier University sports camps.

The camps are specially designed to give youngsters from 7 to 15 opportunities to improve their individual sport skills in a relaxed, fun environment.

Prizes will be awarded throughout the week and all day camp sessions will also provide a nutritious lunch daily in the Rivier University Dining Center.

OUR FACILITIES

Joanne Merrill Field is a beautiful turf field situated among Nashua's highest points. Joanne Merrill Field is host to field hockey, men's & women's soccer, and men's & women's lacrosse, along with being a turf practice facility for baseball and softball. It was originally an all-grass field before "Sprint Turf" was installed before the 2009-10 academic year. The most recent addition to the facility is the Athletics Pavilion, named the Linda Robinson Pavilion, which opened in the fall of 2019. The field is surrounded by a locked fence, and permission must be granted by the athletic department to use the field.

The Muldoon Fitness Center and Gymnasium got its name from Pelham, New Hampshire, resident Teresa Quigly Muldoon after she provided a substantial donation to the University in 1984. The Fitness Center is an addition to the Muldoon Gymnasium and was opened in January 2011. The building is home to Rivier Athletics as it houses all the coach's offices as well as a training room, and serves as the home court for men’s and women’s basketball and men’s and women’s volleyball.

Raider Diamond, the home of the Raiders softball team, is a beautiful natural grass facility. Measuring 200 feet from home plate to every area of the outfield, the field was host to the 2010 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship Tournament. An extensive improvement to the facility in the summer of 2019 gave the field a facelift. The Diamond was transformed into the best Softball facility in the area as dugouts, bullpens, stadium-style seating, and a state-of-the-art press box were constructed. The Diamond is located on top of the hill past Joanne Merrill Field. Parking is located behind Silvia Trotter Hall off Clement Street.
