Men's Cross Country: Jagtap, Raiders out-dual Pine Manor

BUZZARDS BAY, MASS. – The Rivier University Men's Cross Country team earned a 21-36 win over Pine Manor College as the two schools battled in a dual meet during the 15th annual Travis J. Fuller Invitational hosted by Massachusetts Maritime Academy this afternoon.

Rivier senior Yash Jagtap (North Andover, Mass.) and junior Patrick Meyers (Wolfeboro Falls, N.H.) were the top two finishers as they led the Raiders to victory. Other members of the team that finished in the top 10 were all freshmen. Javier Carassco-Alvarez (Madrid, Spain), T.J. Maggliozzi (Stoneham, Mass.), Benjamin Lindsey (Derry, N.H.) and Chance Eason-Jones (Manchester, Conn.) each finished 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th to give the Raiders 21 points total and defeat the Gators.

Pierce McKenzie was the top finisher for Pine Manor in the dual meet loss.
