(Nashua, N.H.) The Rivier University Men's Basketball team lost a scrappy affair this evening to visiting Albertus Magnus College, 91-65 inside the Muldoon Gymnasium. It was a back-and-forth battle through the opening 10 minutes as the Raiders held a six-point advantage just five minutes in. Rivier would hold that lead until a pair of free throws with 11 minutes left gave the Falcons the lead for good.

Three other Falcons registered double-digit scoring efforts in the win. Both junior Ryan Pittman (Stratford, Conn.) and sophomore A'Jen English (Middletown, Del.) had 12-point nights with sophomore Damian Grant (Waterbury, Conn.) providing a 10-point night off the bench.

Next up for Rivier will be another GNAC contest on Saturday afternoon as they host Saint Joseph's College (Me.) in a 3pm game at the Muldoon. Albertus Magnus will also be in conference action on Saturday as they travel to Emmanuel College for a 1pm tip-off.
