Bio

Matt Heckler '18 enters his second season as a Rivier women's volleyball assistant coach in 2023. 

Heckler brings many years of experience with him, as the former Raider has held head coaching positions at Mill City Volleyball Club and with the boys' team at Windham High School since 2018. In addition to coaching, Heckler serves as the Girl's Regional Director and Beach Volleyball Director for Mill City Volleyball Club.

Heckler graduated from Rivier University as the 2018 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) champion and earned himself three All-GNAC Team Selections after notching 552 kills, 181 blocks, and 117 digs as a middle.

Prior to attending Rivier, Heckler was a 2014 Boys Club National Silver Medalist.
