WINTHROP, MASS. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced this afternoon that Rivier University senior Taylor Dunster (Sutton, Mass) was named the Conference's Player of the Week for Women's Volleyball.

Dunster averaged 3.60 kills and 5.20 digs per set in a perfect 3-0 week for the Raiders. She also registered a .310 hitting percentage over those three wins against Eastern Nazarene College, Saint Lawrence University and the University of Massachusetts-Boston. In the 3-1 win over Eastern Nazarene, Dunster went off for 16 kills and 26 digs. She posted triple-doubles in all three victories and also chipped in with 0.40 aces and 0.40 blocks per set for the Raiders.

This is the first time this season that a member of the Rivier Women's Volleyball team earned weekly honors from the GNAC. The last time that a Raiders was tabbed as a Player of the Week was back on October 29, 2018 when Hayley Macken '19 was honored.

Dunster and the rest of the 9-5 Women's Volleyball team will return to action on Thursday night as they host the University of Southern Maine. Game time is set for 7pm.
