Peacock named GNAC WVB Offensive Player of the Week

(Boston, Mass) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has announced that Rivier University senior Nicole Peacock was named the Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

Peacock capped off the last regular season of her career with an outstanding week helping Rivier to a 3-0 record. The 5'8 middle hitter put down 30 kills in just 9 set played to average 3.33 kills on the week to go along with a steady .339 hitting clip. The Warwick Rhode Island native highlighted her week with a 13 kill, .524 hitting percentage, 4 dig and 3 service ace performance in 3-0 sweep over University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Rivier, the overall #1 seed in the tournament, will host #8 Norwich University in the GNAC Quarterfinal tomorrow night at 7pm inside the Muldoon Gymnasium.
