Men's Cross Country finishes 11th at Keene State Invitational

(Keene, N.H.) The Rivier University Men's Cross Country team competed this morning at the Keene State Invitational and recorded 326 points to finish in 11th place.

Senior Joe Fitzgerald (Wilmington, Mass.) was the first Raider to cross the line. He finished 73rd overall and had a time of 32:07. Sophomore Isaiah Arteaga (West Hartford, Conn.) was 10 seconds behind Fitzgerald in 75th with a time of 32:17. Freshman Joe Kelland (Watertown, Mass.) came in 100th with a finishing time of 33:39.

Five other Raiders were able to finish the course, led by Tyler Tambouris (Hooksett, N.H.) who checked in at 106 with a time of 35:46. Classmates Tyler Pendergast (Derry, N.H.) – 110th @ 36:31, Eli Bissonette (Burlington, Vt.) – 115th @ 37:04, William Ryan (Dorchester, Mass.) – 118th @ 37:21 and Max Tucci (Newton, Mass.) – 119th @ 37:22 rounded out the Rivier finishers.
