Arteaga, Men's Cross Country compete at Saints Invitational

(Boston, Mass.) The Rivier University Men's Cross Country team competed this afternoon at the Saints Invitational hosted by Emmanuel College at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. The Raiders finished 18th out of a 20 team field.

Sophomore Isaiah Arteaga (West Hartford, Conn.) crossed the line at 29:27, good enough for 52nd overall to led the Raiders. Senior Joe Fitzgerald (Wilmington, Mass.) came in 148th with a time of 34:00 and freshman Joe Kelland (Watertown, Mass.) was 159th at 35:03.

Freshman William Ryan (Dorchester, Mass.) and Max Tucci (Newton, Mass.) were the other two Rivier finishers in 173rd and 192nd respectively.

This was the 6th team event that the Men's Cross Country team has raced in this season and will wrap up the Cross Country year on November 1st at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
