Men's Volleyball: Kokoros, Roth selected for GNAC honors.

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced earlier this afternoon that seniors Francis Kokoros (Braintree, Mass) and Cam Roth (Coventry, R.I.) have been selected as the conference's Players of the Week for week 5's Men's Volleyball Report.

Kokoros led Rivier to a 3-0 GNAC week, as the middle hitter averaged 3.20 kills per set while hitting at an impressive .519 clip.  The veteran bookended his week with a 14-kill (.500) performance in a 3-1 win over the Saints of Emmanuel College and a 10-kill (.475) effort in a 3-0 win over the Lasers of Lasell College.  He also chipped in defensively with 8 blocks for 0.80 blocks per set. 

Roth was solid defensively for the Raiders, scooping up 25 digs in just eight sets played for a 3.13 digs per set average. The senior libero helped lead Rivier to three GNAC wins and highlighted his week with an 11-dig performance in a 3-0 win over Lasell.
