Men's Volleyball: Raiders pounce on Wildcats, 3-1.

(Nashua, N.H.) After the first set, you would have thought the Wildcats were going to give the Raiders a hard time as they edged them out 25-22.  However, the Raiders served the Wildcats 3 consecutive wins to secure a 3-1 win by the end of the contest.  

Senior Deshaun Graham (Highland Falls, N.Y.) and Freshman Jack Normandin (Clifton Park, N.Y.) each tallied 8 kills a piece.  

Senior Francis Kokoros (Braintree, Mass) dropped 12 kills at .258.  The OPP pulled out 9 digs and 3 blocks.

Junior Cam Roth (Coventry, R.I.) handed out 4 assists and scooped up 17 digs.

Senior Khaynen Yocca (Pittsburgh, Pa) walked away with 13 kills on 24 attempts hitting a .500.  The MH currently leads the conference in the hitting percentage category at .398. 

Junior David Smith (Clinton, Oh) hit .250 on 13 kills at 32 attempts.  The OH also tallied 5 digs and a block.

It was Raiders setter Pedro Campos (Downey, Calif.) who facilitated 48 assists to help the Raiders earn another win.  He also contributed 3 kills, 11 digs and 1 block. He currently sits on the top of the leader board for assists per set at 10.20. 

Next up for the Raiders will be Wentworth College at home at 7PM.  Wentworth is 17-9 overall and 10-2 in conference play. Rivier just knocked Wentworth off the top with this weekends wins.  This will be the first home game in a month.

JWU is slated to host a conference match against Colby-Sawyer College (21-11 overall, 10-2 GNAC) on Tuesday at 7PM.
