Men's Volleyball: David Smith earns second GNAC Player of the Week in a row.

(Nashua, N.H.) Smith, the reigning GNAC Offensive Player of the Week, continued his dominant play in leading Rivier to a 2-0 week, including a 3-0 sweep of No. 1 nationally-ranked Springfield. The junior outside hitter averaged 3.83 kills per set while hitting an impressive .455. Smith was electric against Springfield, hitting .435 with 12 kills.

This was the second time in program history Rivier has knocked off the No. 1 ranked D3 program, last happening in 2014 also against Springfield. Smith followed up with 11 kills in a 3-0 sweep of Lasell at home. 

Teammate Deshaun Graham (Highland Falls, N.Y.) was a monster at the net helping Rivier to a 2-0 week including a 3-0 sweep over #1 Springfield College. The middle blocker put back an impressive 8 blocks for a 2.67 blocks/set average in the sweep over Springfield. Graham finished his week with a 1.67 blocks/set average on defense while chipping in on offense with 1.5 kills/set and a .286 hitting percentage.
