Men's Volleyball: Graham, Raiders remain perfect in GNAC with win over Emmanuel

(Boston, Mass.) The Rivier University Men's Volleyball team took care of business this evening on the road at Emmanuel College as they swept the Saints, 3-0 in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest. The Raiders are now 16-6 on the year with a perfect 7-0 mark in the GNAC while the Saints fall to 7-12 overall, 2-4 GNAC.

Rivier was victorious by set scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 26-24.

Senior Grant Andler (Chicago, Ill.) led the charge as he hammered down 14 kills and junior Dashaun Graham (Highland Falls, N.Y.) hit at a .353 clip on 10 kills for the Raiders. Senior setter Garrett Bucklin (Jamestown, R.I.) accumulated 42 assists and junior Dahnny Rogers (Penfield, N.Y.) scooped up 14 digs in the win. Sophomore Cam Roth (Coventry, R.I.) chipped in with seven kills and 12 digs as the Raiders have now won ten consecutive sets played.

Emmanuel was paced by Erik English, who had 7 kills and 10 digs. Seamus McDonagh handed out 24 assists and Kevin Orsley totaled seven kills. Alex Silva patrolled the net with five total blocks in the loss.

Next up for Rivier will be an important day as they host both Regis College and Wentworth Institute of Technology in a GNAC Tri-Match at the Muldoon on Saturday morning. Game one is slated to begin at 11am with the showdown against Wentworth expected to start at 3pm.
