Men's Volleyball: Grant Andler named GNAC MVB Player of the Week

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced earlier today that Rivier University senior Grant Andler has been named the Conference's Player of the Week for Men's Volleyball, presented by Corvias.

Andler helped lead the Raiders to a perfect 4-0 week (all sweeps) in GNAC play, averaging 3.58 kills, 0.58 aces and 1.08 digs per set while hitting .402. After swatting 13 and 14 kills, respectively, in 3-0 wins over Emerson and Emmanuel, Andler had six kills and two blocks against Regis. He highlighted his week with a 10-kill effort while hitting .769 in a key 3-0 victory over Wentworth to complete the season sweep.

This is the fourth time that a Raider has been named the GNAC Player of the Week this season. Rivier will return to action tomorrow night as they travel to Lasell College for a conference matchup starting at 7pm.
