Samuel Holdsworth enters his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Rivier University men’s soccer program in 2024. Holdsworth, a 2019 graduate of Rivier University, was a four-year member of the men’s soccer program where he appeared in 38 games for the Raiders. 

Holdsworth is currently the head coach of Fairgrounds Middle School boys' soccer team and serves as a club coach with International Soccer Club. He was previously a private trainer for Bedford Travel Soccer from 2021 to 2022. 

Holdsworth has experience coaching at the youth level, as he has assisted and led numerous youth soccer programs including camps and clinics with Laura Ray Soccer, Hampshire United, Pelham Parks and Rec, and Abbey Villa Soccer Club.  

Holdsworth obtained Class D licensing and Goalkeeper Level 2 certification through the U.S. Soccer Coaching Education.
