(Nashua, N.H.) The sun was out, it was warm and the sideline was packed with friends, family and fans to celebrate Senior Day. Ten student-athletes were announced and honored with a brief description of their contributions to the program and institutution.

Now, back to the Raiders convincing victory over the Falcons…

The onslaught of scoring started with senior A.J. Gearin (Lunenberg, Mass.) when he scored four minutes into the game off a dish from sophomore Dylan McSparren (Warwick, R.I.).  Moments later, McSparren netted two goals in 55 seconds. Both were unassisted.

Senior Rob Fullerton (Wilmington, Mass.) liked the sound of two points in 55 seconds.  So he matched McSparren, however one goal was assisted by Gearin and the other was assisted.

Albertus narrowed the lead with less than four mintues to go in the first period by sending junior attacker Christopher Magnific (Glastonbury, Conn.) forward with an unassisted goal.

The first period ended 5-1 in favor of the hosts.

The second leg is where the Raiders separated themselves from the Falcons with twelve more goals.

Senior Colby Larsen (Windham, N.H.) lit it up with five goals.  Fullerton contributed two more goals while senior teammates Sean Brady (Tewksbury, Mass.), Eric Guinasso (Pelham, N.H.) Chris Pennie (Wilmington, Mass.) and defender Nick Wolfrom (Pelham, N.H.) each tallied a goal apiece.

Nick Wolfrom struck again two more times before the end of the contest.  Others to contribute to the score line were senior Jake Genest (Salem, N.H.), freshman Nick Ackerman (Durham, N.H.) and Jacob Enwright (Dracut, Mass.).

Matt Cloutman (Peabody, Mass.) collected four saves on the day before being pulled out after the first 30 minutes.  Sophomore Jake DeStefano (Peabody, Mass.) jumped in and collected four saves in 20 minutes and sophomore Ben Fitzpatrick (Stoneham, Mass.) closed out the day denying the Falcons three attempts and zero goals against.

Next up for the Raiders will be the Saints of Emmanuel College (3-10 overall, 3-3 GNAC) this Wednesday at 4:00PM on Raider Field. The Falcons will host Mass Maritime Academy (5-6, 0-4 NEWMAC) on Wednesday at 7:00PM in New Haven, Conn.
