Men's Lacrosse: Liam Ryan selected to GNAC All-Conference Team

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has announced their annual Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Awards and Teams this morning, as voted on by the conference's head coaches. In total, there are three All-Conference teams along with major award winners in the nine-school conference.

For the second consecutive season, and the second time in his career, junior Liam Ryan (Dorchester, Mass.) was selected to the All-Conference Team. This season he was voted to the All-Conference's Third team after being a second team selection in 2016. The third-year attackman finished the 2017 season with 44 goals (second most in the GNAC) with nine assists for 53 total points in 17 games played. Ryan also collected 34 groundballs and obtaining a 63.9% shots on goal average (94 SOG, 147 total shots).

The Raiders finished the 2017 season with an overall record of 8-9 and a 3-5 mark in league play. They were eliminated in the GNAC Quarterfinals at Johnson & Wales University back on May 2, 17-14 in a battle that came down to the final minute of action.
