Men's Lacrosse: Cloutman tabbed GNAC Goalie of the Week

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced this afternoon that Rivier University Men's Lacrosse student-athlete Matt Cloutman has been selected as the Conference's Goalkeeper of the Week, presented by Corvias Campus Living.

The sophomore netminder from Peabody, Massachusetts was tabbed the GNAC/Corvias Goalkeeper of the Week after gathering 28 saves in a 1-1 week, including a career high 20 saves in a 3-2 setback versus UMass Boston on Wednesday. Cloutman also turned away eight shots in a 15-4 victory over Mitchell on Saturday. For the week, he posted an .848 save percentage. This is the first time this season that Cloutman has been named the GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week.

The Raiders return to action on Wednesday night, March 29th, when they travel to future GNAC member Regis College for a 4:00 pm tilt.
