Woolaver, Raiders notch first win over Daniel Webster College

(Nashua, NH) Eight unanswered goals in the fourth quarter helped the Rivier Unviersity Men's Lacrosse team to a 14-5 win over crosstown foe Daniel Webster College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action this afternoon.

Freshmen Brandon Hanifin (Tewksbury, MA) and David Bray (West Suffield, CT) led the Raiders to their first victory over the Eagles in program history. Sophomore Ryan Woolaver (Tewksbury, MA) joined both Hanifin and Woolaver has they had three goals apiece in the win. Freshman Kyle Graham (Londonderry, NH) tallied a career high, six assists for the Raiders who improve to 8-6 overall and 4-5 in GNAC competition.

Freshman Clark Plummer (Londonderry, NH) made 10 saves between the pipes as the net minder continues to shine in his first season.

Rivier Men's Lacrosse returns to action on Saturday afternoon when they travel up to Northfield, Vermont and take on Norwich University in a GNAC battle.
