NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier University Men's Basketball team suffered a 91-56 setback this evening to visiting Brandeis University in a non-conference contest played inside the Muldoon Gymnasium. The loss moves the Raiders to 1-2 overall on the young season while the Judges even out their overall record at 1-1.

Sophomore Paraoh Davis (Plainville, Mass.) led the Raiders with 17 points and freshman Nikolas Pignone (Stoneham, Mass.) chipped in with 11 points off the bench. Junior Tyler Bradanese (Billerica, Mass.) pulled down six rebounds to record the team-high on the night while contributing offensively with five points.

Brandeis was guided by the all-around efforts of junior Chandler Jones (Springfield, Mass.). The veteran forward registered game-highs of 25 points and 17 rebounds, his second consecutive game with 10+ rebounds. Two other Judges reached double-figures in points scored as senior Eric D'Aguanno (Saunderstown, R.I.) shot 6-of-11 from beyond the arc for 20 points and classmate Collin Sawyer (New London, Conn.) added 17 points in the win. D'Aguanno also pulled down eight rebounds for Brandeis.

The Raiders will return to action on Saturday afternoon with a trip to Northfield, Vermont for a non-conference affair with Norwich University. Game time is set for 1pm. Brandeis will return to the floor on Monday (11/18) as they host Emerson College in a 7pm non-league affair.
