Bio

Lindsay Marshall begins her second season as an assistant coach with the Rivier University women's volleyball program. Marshall, a 2008 graduate of Rivier, was a two-time GNAC All-Tournament Team (2005-06) and First Team All-GNAC selection (2006-07). She helped Rivier capture the 2007 GNAC Championship and was named Rivier College Female Athlete of the Year and Granite State Libero of the Year following the season. For the Raiders, she holds school records in digs (2,240), digs in a season (736), and digs per game in a season (6.03). Marshall is also second all-time in Rivier history for service aces (237) and games played (440).

Marshall came to Rivier from Salve Regina University, where she coached for three seasons, two as head coach. Marshall began her tenure at Salve Regina as an assistant coach in 2009. In 2010, she led the team to 12 wins during her first season as head coach, tying the program mark for victories. In 2011, Marshall was named the CCC Coach of the Year and led the Seahawks to a first ever post-season win and a team record 16 wins on the year

She’s currently New England Regional Volleyball Association’s Outdoor Coordinator and Safe Sport Representative. Marshall represented NERVA this year in the USA National Tournament in Louisville, KY where her and several Rivier alumni won a silver medal in the Women’s B Division.

Marshall began her coaching career with Athletes' Competitive Edge (ACE), where she was the head coach for a U-16 team, and later worked as an assistant coach with the Blast Volleyball Academy in Providence, R.I. (2007-08).

A native of Tiverton, R.I., Marshall is employed at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA as a Business Manager and is pursuing her MBA at Rivier University.
