Bio

Allison is a board certified physician assistant (PA-C) and a board certified athletic trainer (ATC). She has worked directly with Dr. Howard Wu since  April 2017, providing patient care for a broad range of orthopedic issues, including sports injuries, total joint arthroplasty, and trauma. She first assists Dr. Wu in the operating room at Lowell General Hospital and at several local ambulatory surgical centers. As part of her collaboration with Dr. Wu, who is the Head Team Physician for Rivier University, Allison is on the staff at Rivier University as the Team PA-C. She serves as part of the Sports Medicine Department, providing streamlined access to outpatient orthopedic care for all student-athletes. In addition, she has provided on-site medical coverage for the men’s and women’s ice hockey home games since their inaugural season in 2021-2022. 

Allison received a master's degree in physician assistant studies in 2016  from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science (MCPHS) University - Manchester. She graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor of science degree in athletic training in 2013. Prior to graduate school, Allison worked as a physician extender for an orthopedic surgical practice in southern NH and also worked as a Certified  Athletic Trainer for Assumption College. 

Allison is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Athletic Training Association. 

She lives in southern New Hampshire with her husband and two children.
