Maureen, also known as Moe, ran the show for Rivier in both Field Hockey and Women's Basketball. Playing center halfback in field hockey and point guard in basketball, she directed the Raiders team from 1980-1984 with intelligence, athletic skill and humor. Moe had great vision on the hockey field and basketball court. She helped make all of her teammates better. In 1984, Moe was the first player in Rivier history to score 1,000 points in basketball, finishing her career with 1,088 points. At Rivier, Moe majored in medical technology and went on to a successful career in her field. She and her husband, Mike, have four children who are all following in the athletic footsteps of their mother.
