Jim Domoracki

Associate Director of Athletics

Men's Basketball, Softball, Cross Country and Golf Coach

1991-1998

Jim made Rivier history as coach of the first men's basketball team. He was hired as the Associate Director of Athletics and head coach when the college first went co-ed, and there could have been no better leader for building the foundation of Raider sports. Jim is a man of vision who worked to develop a program and build a successful team where none had existed before. Jim was the consummate Division III coach and teacher. During his years at Rivier, Jim also coached cross country, softball and golf. He was also one of the founders of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and served as one of the first GNAC commissoners. After leaving Rivier, Jim went on to be a high school athletic director and coach. His vision and hard work - always done with grace and great humor - have had a long-lasting impact on Rivier's athletic program. Jim and his wife, Beth, have three children.
