Hayley Macken, Sophomore, Women's Volleyball

(Nashua, N.H.) The Rivier University Athletic Department is pleased to announce that sophomore Hayley Macken (Clifton Park, N.Y.) has been selected as the University's Female Student-Athlete of the Month for September 2016.

Macken, a setter for the Women's Volleyball team, led the team to a 14-1 mark in the opening month of the season. She is currently 2nd in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in assists per set as she totaled 514 for the month to go along with her 72 kills. Her efforts on the month were recognized with her selection to the All-Tournament team at the New York University Invitational Tournament.
